Data Alchemy features: frequently asked questions
Which features are included in the Basic licence?
The Basic licence includes 1 document model, 500 MB of storage and pay-as-you-go credits bought online. External fields, remote validation and the Mail service are included from the Business licence; the AI agent is a separately quoted add-on on Business and is included in Enterprise.
What is the difference between external fields and remote validation?
External fields compare the document with the external data it refers to, such as the purchase order quoted on a delivery note, checked line by line. Remote validation checks or resolves single values against master data: it checks item codes and retrieves the customer or supplier code from the company name or VAT number.
What does the Data Alchemy AI agent do?
The AI agent is the component, installed at your premises, that connects Data Alchemy to your systems in both directions: it connects to Data Alchemy over websocket and APIs, makes ERP data available, for example for validation, and posts the extracted data into the ERP or CRM on the destination configured from a graphical interface: a database, CSV, JSON or TXT files, or APIs. Your ERP credentials stay in the agent, in your perimeter. It is included in Enterprise and available as a separately quoted add-on on Business.
Can I try the features in the Demo?
The Demo is the free trial Basic licence: 10 days, 10 documents and 1 model chosen from the predefined ones. It lets you try AI reading on your documents; external fields, remote validation and the AI agent are not included. To see them on your own flows, plan a call with a demo on your own documents.
